Airbnb is a DIY B&B site where anyone can list their space and rent it out on a short term basis. They tend to be very unique accommodations so the owners of this really cool apartment in Bristol wanted something big and eye catching for the large wall in their open plan loft apartment. I had the idea of doing something slightly unusual in the form of the tail of an aircraft as it would fit the space well, which led me onto the idea of paying homage to the Beastie Boys ‘Licensed ti Ill’ cover. Apparently since the apartment has been up for hire not one person has failed to mention it!
