The old White Lion pub at the end of Portishead High Street has had a complete refurb by the successful chain of Gastro Pubs ‘Mezze’ around Bristol.
They asked me to paint a piece for their live launch night – I saw the spot and felt it needed something more classical to suit the old doorway and stone facade.
